Disaster Drawn

Today we posted a new episode of the History Slam podcast, in perhaps the quickest turnaround time we’ve ever had for an episode. Recorded late yesterday afternoon, this episode features my conversation with Professor Hillary Chute of the University of Chicago and Visiting Professor at Harvard University about her new book Disaster Drawn: Visual Witness, Comics, and Documentary Form. We chat about the perception of comics as a medium for children, the tradition of subversive comics in American history, and comics in the digital age. You can find the full post here.
